Sheriff Stacy Randolph has been your Jackson County Sheriff since being appointed on September 30, 2022.

Sheriff Randolph spent his entire 21-year law enforcement career with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office after being brought on as a night shift jailer under the direction of former Sheriff Morris Roberts in May of 2002. During this time, a new Jackson County Jail was constructed, and he not only processed the first inmates house at the new facility, he was instrumental in developing many of the jail policies in place today at the Jackson County Jail.

In 2004 Sheriff Randolph was appointed as a deputy for the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and spent much of this time assigned as the night shift supervisor.

Sheriff Randolph later served as our Jail Administrator for five years, a position that he held until being appointed as Under Sheriff by his predecessor, Sheriff Roger LeVick. He spent ten years as Under Sheriff of Jackson County. Sheriff Randolph, through his work at the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, has become well-versed in all aspects of law enforcement, the management of the county's jail, and the budgetary needs of the Office of the Sheriff.

Sheriff Randolph believes in serving his constituents and strongly supports everyone's constitutional rights. He believes in serving all of Jackson County and is adamant about providing 24-hour patrol coverage to every citizen.

Sheriff Randolph is a certified ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) instructor for law enforcement personnel as well as a Centurion Law Enforcement Pepper Spray instructor. Sheriff Randolph has completed many hours of supervisory and leadership training for Law Enforcement.

Since taking office, Sheriff Randolph has been instrumental in updating the communications system that allows each deputy reliable communication at all times and has been able to acquire a new, fully equipped crime scene trailer to be utilized at any emergency in the county area. Additionally, he has ensured that new and updated body armor has been provided for each deputy to enable their safety while serving our citizens.

A lifelong resident of Jackson County, growing up in Eldorado, Ok, Sheriff Randolph has made Altus his home for the past 31 years. Sheriff Randolph proudly supports our area youth and their 4H and FFA organizations. One can be assured to find him assisting our area youth in these endeavors. In his spare time, Sheriff Randolph enjoys hunting and fishing.
