Animal Control

The animal control position for the Jackson County Sheriff's Office is committed to promoting the welfare and safety of both domestic and wild animals within our community. With a focus on responsible pet ownership and the enforcement of animal-related laws, our division strives to create a harmonious coexistence between humans and animals.

We work closely with local animal rescues and the Atlus Humane Society responding to calls about stray or injured animals to investigating cases of animal cruelty, our highly trained officers work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of all creatures.
